People of conscience around the world are marking March 16 with peaceful marches in solidarity with Syrians enduring repression in their struggle for genuine democracy. The march protests human rights atrocities and hopes to inspire solidarity and a peaceful resolution to the Syrian uprising. The walk, which begins by Copley Square, is presented in collaboration with the Syrian American Alliance, MIT Amnesty International, and the Syrian American Medical Society.
