On Campus

AIC works with students on campus through Project Nur, our student-led initiative, that advocates for social justice by empowering responsible leaders to cultivate an environment of acceptance and mutual respect between Muslims and all communities. Project Nur chapters across the country participate in cultural, community, advocacy and international programs ranging from the Muslim Film Festival to Alternative Spring Breaks to panels on social media in the Arab world.

In 2012, AIC launched the Science and Islam dialogue series, which analyzes the intersection of Islamic faith and science. These dialogues, held at college campuses around the U.S., address issues like creation, evolution and extraterrestrial life.
