Capitol Hill Speakers Series

Since 2007, AIC has organized one of the most vital and distinguished platforms for moderate Islamic and inter-faith discussions through its quarterly Capitol Hill Lecture Series. The series, designed to inform Congressional leaders, Capitol Hill staffers, and the Washington policy community about Muslim issues in America and around the world, is central to AIC’s mission of building tolerance and fostering respect for human rights. AIC has brought in leading voices in fields like women’s rights, Islamic extremism, and democracy in the Muslim World. In addition to its quarterly lectures, AIC puts on briefings and on the current and pertinent issues relating to the American Muslim Community and issues relevant to American policy.
