“Little Politician”

I’ve never imagined that one day I’ll realize my own idea and have my own project. “Little Politician” is not just a normal thing in my life, it is a real turn over in my personality and my career. Personally, I learned a lot of things, such as leadership quality, working under stress, creation, innovation, communication skills, and the most important thing is how to create a network of connections. Professionally, this event was a space for meeting new persons who helped me a lot during the preparation of the program. In addition, I’ve learned how to create a culture and value to a group of people and make them share in your dream and become part of theirs. I do believe that the success of this project was due to teamwork, spirit, and commitment. We succeeded in forming a human network that will mold future citizens and leaders committed to tolerance within our diverse society. It was an amazing experience especially with the kids; they have reflected their ideas through their spontaneous, innocent drawings. This idea was not to be achieved without the assistance of the AIC program in Tunisia; they have been a great help for me and my team.

I am willing to expand the idea all over the country, especially since the parents of the kids who attended the event were very happy and liked the idea. The “Little Politician” program will continue to meet every few months to assess progress. One future project will be the analysis of the painting done in the first event in order to see the impact of the violent political speech during the last years and after the Tunisian revolution on the young generation politician of the future in order to avoid committing the same mistake of the previous generation, as well as to create a commercial image for the project and get financial investment to its budget by preparing a gallery for the painting of the first event inviting big company to it and sell them . The project will also to diversify its activities and to get more members to its team in order to create its own culture and values. After three years, “Little Politician” hopes to have its official office in Tunisia, a commercial and social image, and to reach 3000 activists. Finally “Little Politician” is a new step in my life — to work for my country, my lovely Tunisia, land of dignity and creation.
